The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced revised fees for police certificates and fingerprint attestation under Decision No. 157/2026, effective November 2, 2026. Under the updated fee schedule, Omani citizens will pay RO 3 for a non-conviction certificate, while expatriate residents will pay RO 20 for a good conduct certificate (Police Clearance Certificate). The attestation of a complete set of ten fingerprints will cost RO 5. The decision, issued on October 28 by the Inspector General of Police and Customs, amends the existing service-fee schedule under Decision No. 67/2016. Citizens and residents applying for these documents should take note of the revised charges before submitting their applications.
