The Investment Unit of Oman’s Social Protection Fund has received a certificate of compliance with the CFA Institute’s Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS), marking an important milestone in the development of Oman’s investment management practices.

The internationally recognised standards promote fair representation, full disclosure and consistent measurement of investment performance, making investment reporting more reliable and comparable globally.

The certification is expected to strengthen transparency, governance, asset management efficiency and stakeholder confidence, while supporting more informed investment decisions.

The Social Protection Fund says the move reflects its continued efforts to adopt global best practices and enhance its investment capabilities in support of the Fund’s long-term objectives.
