𝐆𝐔𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐢𝐯𝐞-𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐦𝐚𝐧

The German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech) has received institutional accreditation from the Oman Authority for Quality Assurance (OAQA) following a comprehensive assessment of its academic, administrative and institutional performance.

The accreditation was approved in July 2026 and will remain valid until July 2031, marking an important milestone for the university and Oman’s higher-education sector.

The assessment examined six key areas, including governance and management, human resources, academic programmes and resources, research and innovation, student services, and external engagement.

The accreditation reinforces GUtech’s commitment to academic quality, research, innovation and student development, while contributing to Oman’s ambitions to strengthen a knowledge-based economy.
