Oman is expanding its Young Ambassadors Programme, with the fourth edition set to take place in Muscat in November 2026 and a target of 160 participants.
Organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, the programme is designed to strengthen young peopleโs understanding of diplomacy, international affairs, dialogue and decision-making.
Participants will engage with diplomatic leaders, take part in training workshops with UNITAR, explore diplomatic protocol and etiquette, and participate in a Model United Nations simulation. The programme also includes networking opportunities, a diplomatic dinner and educational tours.
The fourth edition is expected to expand participation beyond Oman, creating opportunities for young people from a wider range of countries to exchange ideas and develop international perspectives.
The initiative reflects Omanโs growing focus on youth empowerment, leadership development and international engagement, helping prepare a new generation to participate confidently in regional and global forums.
