𝐎𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝟏𝟔𝟎 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞

Oman is expanding its Young Ambassadors Programme, with the fourth edition set to take place in Muscat in November 2026 and a target of 160 participants.

Organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, the programme is designed to strengthen young people’s understanding of diplomacy, international affairs, dialogue and decision-making.

Participants will engage with diplomatic leaders, take part in training workshops with UNITAR, explore diplomatic protocol and etiquette, and participate in a Model United Nations simulation. The programme also includes networking opportunities, a diplomatic dinner and educational tours.

The fourth edition is expected to expand participation beyond Oman, creating opportunities for young people from a wider range of countries to exchange ideas and develop international perspectives.

The initiative reflects Oman’s growing focus on youth empowerment, leadership development and international engagement, helping prepare a new generation to participate confidently in regional and global forums.
