𝐎𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲

Oman is preparing a National Strategy for Integrated Waste Management aimed at transforming how waste is collected, treated and recovered. The initiative focuses on stronger recycling, resource recovery, private-sector participation and better governance.

The strategy also promotes innovative waste-management technologies and new investment opportunities in recycling, reuse and resource recovery, supporting environmental sustainability and economic diversification.

The move marks another step towards Oman’s transition from conventional waste disposal to a more integrated circular economy model, aligned with Oman Vision 2040.
