Oman is advancing work on a National Climate Change Adaptation Plan to strengthen the country’s resilience to rising climate risks.

The initiative focuses on helping key sectors prepare for challenges such as extreme heat, water stress, changing weather patterns and impacts on ecosystems and infrastructure.

The plan is expected to support stronger climate resilience while encouraging sustainable development, investment in adaptation and better environmental planning.
