𝐆𝐂𝐂 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐎𝐦𝐚𝐧’𝐬 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐦 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲

Participants of the 25th Forum of the History and Archaeology Society of the GCC Countries have expressed their appreciation to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik for Oman’s warm hospitality during the event.

Held in Salalah from August 23–26, the forum brought together specialists and participants with a shared interest in the history, archaeology and cultural heritage of the GCC region.

Participants highlighted Dhofar’s rich historical and cultural heritage, distinctive natural beauty and growing development across tourism and economic sectors. The forum also provided an opportunity to showcase the governorate’s potential as an important cultural and tourism destination.

The gathering reinforced the importance of regional cooperation in preserving, documenting and promoting Gulf history and heritage, while strengthening cultural connections among GCC countries.
