Dhofar is strengthening its position as one of Oman’s emerging investment destinations, with RO 1.95 billion worth of investment opportunities being unveiled across a range of economic sectors.

The opportunities are designed to support economic diversification, private-sector participation and sustainable development, while making greater use of Dhofar’s natural resources, strategic location and growing infrastructure.

Key areas of opportunity include tourism, agriculture, fisheries, food industries, logistics, manufacturing and other value-added activities. The initiative also aims to encourage investors and entrepreneurs to participate in projects that can create jobs and strengthen local supply chains.

The investment drive comes as Dhofar continues to benefit from infrastructure development and its unique combination of coastal, mountain and agricultural resources, particularly around Salalah and other emerging economic centres.

The scale of the opportunities highlights the growing role of regional investment projects in supporting Oman Vision 2040 and reducing reliance on traditional economic sectors.
