Future Fund Oman (FFO) is investing RO4 million in a RO12.7 million specialised maternal and fetal care project in Muscat, marking a significant step in expanding specialised womenโs healthcare in the Sultanate.
The Maternal and Fetal Care Centre will become Muscatโs first specialised hospital dedicated to womenโs health. Spread across approximately 22,000 sqm, the facility will feature more than 23 specialised rooms and use advanced medical technologies and innovations.
The centre will also offer fertility treatment and IVF services, broadening access to specialist healthcare for women, mothers and fetuses. The project already has a database of more than 40,000 registered patients, providing an established base for its services.
The investment is part of Future Fund Omanโs wider mandate to support economic diversification, private-sector growth, employment and the localisation of expertise across Oman. The project will be managed by Tanmia โ Oman National Investments Development Company.
