Oman is strengthening its focus on youth entrepreneurship and small business development through the โRouwajโ programme, organised by the Youth Centre in partnership with Sohar Port and Free Zone.
The programme, which concluded in Suhar, benefited 100 young men and women aged 20โ34 from Al Batinah North Governorate. It focused on transforming ideas and youth products into sustainable projects capable of competing and growing in the market.
Participants received practical training covering product development, market analysis, marketing, pricing, negotiation, brand identity, visual marketing, social media business management and financial management.
Initiatives such as Rouwaj can play an important role in creating a stronger pipeline of Omani entrepreneurs, innovative SMEs and future businesses, supporting economic diversification and youth participation in Omanโs growing private sector.
