HP has unveiled two new premium AI laptops โ the OmniBook Ultra 16 and OmniBook X 14 โ powered by NVIDIAโs new RTX Spark platform. The announcement was made in Berlin on September 4 as the company expands its push into next-generation AI-powered personal computing.
The new laptops are designed to bring local AI processing, personal AI agents, advanced content creation and high-performance graphics directly to Windows PCs. The OmniBook Ultra 16 targets developers and creators requiring sustained performance, while the 14-inch OmniBook X focuses on portability.
Both models can be configured with up to 128GB of unified LPDDR5X memory, while the RTX Spark platform combines NVIDIA Blackwell graphics and an Arm-based CPU architecture. The OmniBook Ultra 16 features a 3K OLED display, a 99Wh battery and up to 17 hours of claimed battery life.
HP is also developing an OmniDesk compact desktop powered by RTX Spark, extending the company's strategy from AI laptops into desktop computing. The new systems are expected to become available later this year, with pricing to be announced closer to launch
