𝐎𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞

Oman’s aviation sector has earned major international recognition, with Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport securing nine awards at the Airports Council International (ACI) Customer Experience Awards 2026, held during the ACI Airport Experience Summit in Istanbul.

Muscat International Airport received four awards in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East category for airports handling five million or more passengers: Most Enjoyable Airport, Cleanest Airport, Most Dedicated Staff, and Best Departure Airport.

Salalah Airport delivered an even stronger performance, winning five awards among airports handling fewer than five million passengers. These included Most Enjoyable Airport, Cleanest Airport, Easiest Journey Through Airport, Most Dedicated Staff, and Best Departure Airport.

The recognition highlights Oman Airports’ focus on service quality, cleanliness, operational efficiency and passenger care. It also reflects the contribution of employees and partners across the airport community, supporting Oman’s ambitions to strengthen tourism, connectivity and its position as a regional aviation hub.
