The Royal Academy of Management (RAM), in partnership with the Ministry of Education, has launched the ZAD Initiative for Promising Omani Leaders, designed to prepare Omani students for the academic, personal and cultural challenges of studying abroad.
The programme goes beyond academics, focusing on leadership, communication, financial literacy, decision-making, personal responsibility and cultural awareness. Students will also learn how to adapt to new environments while maintaining a strong connection to Omani identity and values.
ZAD begins with an intensive three-day programme followed by 11 months of virtual sessions and activities, providing continued support throughout studentsโ first year overseas. The inaugural programme is supporting around 550 students pursuing government-sponsored scholarships and other approved study pathways.
