Omani startup Sada has completed local beta testing of an AI-powered, location-based audio platform designed to let visitors experience the stories behind Oman’s heritage sites, museums, hotels and public spaces.

Instead of relying on traditional plaques, guides or QR codes, Sada combines AI with location technology to deliver relevant stories based on where a visitor is standing. The platform can connect historical information, cultural context and local storytelling to specific locations.

The startup joined Omran Group’s Hikayat Al Balad accelerator in 2025, helping move the concept toward a tourism-ready product. Sada is now focused on refining the platform and exploring potential deployments with museums, heritage destinations and hotels.
