The Oman Education Quality Assurance Authority (OEQAA) has launched its Strategic Plan for 2026โ€“2030, marking a new phase in strengthening Omanโ€™s national education quality assurance system and improving confidence in the quality and competitiveness of educational outcomes.

The strategy aims to move beyond traditional accreditation and evaluation by developing an integrated, evidence- and data-driven quality system covering different levels and types of education. It also places greater emphasis on measurable results, international best practices and sustainable national capacity building.

The plan aligns closely with Oman Vision 2040, particularly its priorities around education, learning, scientific research and national capabilities. OEQAA's expanded responsibilities are also expected to strengthen its role across the wider education ecosystem.
