Oman continued to demonstrate economic resilience in 2025, despite geopolitical tensions, shifting trade policies and volatility in global financial markets, according to Central Bank of Oman Governor Ahmed Al Musalmi.
Growth was supported by expanding non-hydrocarbon sectors and Oman Vision 2040, while moderate inflation, stronger public finances, declining public debt and an improving sovereign credit profile helped reinforce investor confidence.
The Central Bank also highlighted progress in digital banking, open banking, payment infrastructure and cybersecurity, alongside continued credit growth supporting productive sectors and private-sector development.
