Oman is preparing to make it easier to do business by streamlining procedures, improving procedural efficiency and attracting high-quality investments, according to Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion Minister Anwar bin Hilal Al Jabri. The next phase is part of a broader national programme aimed at strengthening Oman’s investment environment and improving the country’s competitiveness.

The government also plans to expand non-oil exports, open new international markets for Omani products and strengthen the private sector and domestic production base. The Ministry will work with relevant government entities and the private sector to translate these priorities into implementation programmes supporting economic diversification and Oman Vision 2040.
