Microsoft plans to invest more than $10 billion between now and 2030 across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait, as part of a broader strategy to expand cloud and AI infrastructure in the Middle East. The company says the investment will cover infrastructure, operations and initiatives aimed at strengthening digital resilience.
More than $400 million is planned for subsea and terrestrial connectivity across the Middle East. Microsoft is also expanding partnerships with regional AI organisations and government digital programmes, while supporting cybersecurity, AI skills and digital resilience initiatives.
