𝐎𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲

Oman has launched its National FinTech Strategy alongside the Oman FinTech Portal, creating a unified roadmap for developing the country’s financial technology ecosystem. The initiative is led by the Central Bank of Oman in partnership with the Financial Services Authority and the Ministry of Finance’s Estidamah programme.

The strategy aims to attract investment and specialised talent, support entrepreneurs, improve digital infrastructure and strengthen cooperation between government and private-sector institutions. The new FinTech Portal will provide companies and innovators with market information, readiness assessments and guidance on regulatory requirements, while connecting them with relevant ecosystem partners.

The framework also focuses on financial inclusion, cybersecurity, consumer protection, financial stability and the development of Omani capabilities, supporting Oman’s broader digital-economy and Oman Vision 2040 objectives.
