Nama Water Services has started inspecting water tankers and conducting water-quality tests free of charge as part of the current implementation of Omanβs regulations governing water-tanker operations under Resolution No. 31/2025. The inspections are being carried out at tanker filling stations and affiliated facilities.
The process includes field and visual inspections of tankers, collection of water samples, on-site quality testing and laboratory analysis at an accredited facility. Following the inspection and analysis, an inspection certificate is issued free of charge. Nama said the initiative is intended to help ensure clean and safe water reaches homes and identify potential contamination in tanker tanks at an early stage.
