Omanโs National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking (NCCHT) has identified public awareness, reporting mechanisms and victim protection as important elements of its national efforts. The committeeโs โAmanโ campaign focuses on explaining different forms of human trafficking, encouraging safe reporting and raising awareness of available support for victims.
The campaign also reinforces the role of individuals, employers and institutions in recognising potential cases and supporting efforts to prevent exploitation. Oman provides channels for reporting suspected human-trafficking cases, including the Royal Oman Police hotline 800 77 444.
