Omanโs average inflation rate stood at approximately 2.9% from January to August 2026, compared with around 4.7% globally, according to IMF projections. The Ministry of Economy said global trade, investment, geopolitical developments and interconnected supply chains continue to influence prices across economies.
Oman continues to monitor price movements, market conditions and supply chains while implementing measures aimed at maintaining market stability, ensuring the availability of essential goods and reducing the impact of external price fluctuations. The Ministry is also working with relevant authorities and partners to strengthen economic resilience and support sustainable growth.
