Raysut Industrial City attracted nine new projects valued at RO 6.55 million during the first half of 2026, strengthening its role as an industrial and investment hub in Dhofar. The projects were selected from 27 investment applications and cover sectors including iron manufacturing, mining, food and services, with a combined land area of about 32,703 square metres. Madayn also reported that five underperforming projects were replaced during the period, while cumulative investment at the industrial city exceeded RO 521 million by the end of June 2026. The city currently employs 3,681 workers, including 1,582 Omanis, and further infrastructure and expansion plans are underway to support future investment.
