Google Cloud and Swedish automotive technology company RemotiveLabs have partnered to accelerate virtual vehicle development by combining Google Cloudโs Horizon platform with RemotiveLabsโ RemotiveTopology. The integration allows automotive development teams to create and test digital twins of complete vehicles in the cloud, bringing software development, integration and verification earlier in the development cycle. Google Cloud says the approach can support up to 9ร faster virtual software testing and feature-development cost reductions of around 40%, while helping teams identify software, hardware and electronic-system mismatches before costly physical components are built.
