Omanβs Ministry of Labour reports that 18,747 people benefited from private-sector employment programmes during the first half of 2026, representing 57% of the annual target of 33,000 beneficiaries. The ministry said the results reflect continued efforts to expand employment opportunities, support jobseekers and strengthen national skills across different sectors, with employment and training initiatives designed to improve workforce readiness and support Omanβs labour-market priorities.
