Oman has unveiled more than RO1 billion in urban development and investment projects, with 20 partnership, development and tender agreements announced at the opening of the Oman Home & Building Expo 2026. The agreements cover residential, tourism and service developments across Sultan Haitham City, A’Thuraya City, Khazaen Economic City, Musandam and projects under the Sorouh programme. Among the major deals are RO45 million and RO55 million residential developments in A’Thuraya City, RO186.6 million across eight Sorouh residential projects delivering 2,443 units, and a RO50 million integrated residential neighbourhood in Khazaen Economic City. The expo is also bringing together more than 200 exhibitors from 50 countries and is focusing on adequate housing, urban regeneration, public spaces and the development of inclusive, connected and liveable communities
