Oman’s electric-mobility rollout is moving toward larger-scale commercial deployment, with China-based battery-swapping solutions provider TYCORUN delivering 200 electric motorcycles, 600 swappable batteries and 14 battery-swap cabinets for the country’s last-mile delivery sector. The integrated system is being deployed with Muscat-based BYOD, which operates an electric mobility and battery-swapping network for commercial fleets. The latest deployment is designed to reduce charging downtime by allowing depleted batteries to be exchanged for charged units, helping delivery motorcycles stay on the road for longer periods. The development comes as Oman advances plans to electrify the express-delivery sector and build supporting charging and battery-swapping infrastructure
