Muscat Municipality has unveiled 12 long-term investment opportunities, including four waterfront projects in Qurum, Muttrah, Seeb and Qurayyat, as part of efforts to attract private investment into tourism, leisure, commercial facilities and public spaces. The Qurum proposal includes the redevelopment of more than 1.04 million square metres covering the Nature Park, protected mangroves and Beach Road, with a planned 1.6-kilometre promenade, cafรฉs, kiosks and a seasonal market. Other opportunities include commercial redevelopment near Muttrahโ€™s historic port, a planned promenade along Seebโ€™s 10-kilometre public beach, and a beachfront park in Qurayyat. The municipality said the portfolio supports Oman Vision 2040 by expanding private-sector participation and attracting investment.
