Oman has signed four strategic agreements at CPhI Worldwide 2026 in Milan, Italy, advancing its ambition to strengthen domestic pharmaceutical manufacturing, attract specialised investment and build integrated pharmaceutical and medical-industry clusters. The agreements include plans for an oncology medicines manufacturing plant at Raysut Industrial City in Dhofar, industrial cooperation between Dhofar Pharmaceutical Industries and Felix Pharmaceutical Industries, pharmaceutical technology transfer and drug-dossier exchange between Jordanโ€™s Sana Pharma and Omanโ€™s National Pharmaceutical Industries, and the transfer of manufacturing technology for an Omani diabetes medicine to Algeria. These partnerships could help expand local production capabilities, strengthen pharmaceutical supply chains, facilitate technology transfer and create new export opportunities. Omanโ€™s participation reflects a wider strategy to connect local companies with international investors and develop a more resilient, competitive pharmaceutical industry.
