Omanโ€™s International Financial Centre (IFC Oman) is progressing towards its planned launch in 2027, with company registration expected to begin later in 2026. The centre is advancing its legal and regulatory framework, licensing arrangements and digital application system to create a stable, competitive environment for international financial institutions, investors and professional services firms. A package of laws covering business registration, licensing, financial services regulation and independent dispute resolution is expected shortly, while its digital registry is moving towards testing. Based in Madinat Al Irfan, IFC Oman aims to connect international capital and expertise with opportunities in Oman and the wider region, supporting investment, financial-sector development, economic diversification and the objectives of Oman Vision 2040. The next phase will be critical in establishing the regulatory clarity and operational readiness needed to attract global businesses.
