𝐎𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

Oman will host the fifth Oman Electricity and Energy Conference from 12–14 October 2026 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, bringing together an expected 4,200 participants from 47 countries. Hosted by Nama Electricity Distribution Company in collaboration with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the event will feature more than 70 expert speakers and an exhibition involving 75 local and international companies. Discussions will cover electricity markets, renewable energy and storage, grid solutions, distribution systems, energy efficiency, and asset management. As Oman expands renewable generation and modernises its electricity infrastructure, the conference will focus on developing more flexible, reliable and resilient grids that can support the energy transition, digital transformation and the country’s net-zero ambitions. The event also aims to strengthen industry collaboration, encourage technology adoption and connect engineering knowledge with practical projects aligned with Oman Vision 2040.
