Developing industry-ready talent is essential to strengthening Omanโ€™s manufacturing capabilities and supporting long-term economic growth. Jindal Steel has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Sohar University to establish the Jindal Skill Training Centre in Sohar. The centre will focus on practical industrial skills, particularly advanced manufacturing and automation, combining the universityโ€™s academic expertise with Jindal Steelโ€™s industrial experience. The initiative aims to equip young Omanis with future-ready capabilities, improve workforce readiness and support the development of national talent for technical and industrial leadership roles. By connecting academic learning with practical industrial requirements, the partnership represents a meaningful step towards youth empowerment, Omanisation and stronger local industrial capabilities, aligned with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
