Bank Muscat has launched its Shariโ€™a Money Market Fund, expanding investment opportunities for individuals, businesses and institutions seeking to manage short-term surplus funds in line with Islamic finance principles. Registered with Omanโ€™s Financial Services Authority, the open-ended fund invests in a diversified portfolio of Shariโ€™a-compliant instruments across Oman, the GCC and international markets. The New Fund Offer runs from 11 to 22 October 2026, with a minimum investment of RO 100 and no cap on the investment amount. The fund also offers daily liquidity and no subscription or redemption fees, giving eligible investors greater flexibility in managing their funds. This launch marks another development in Omanโ€™s Islamic finance and asset management landscape, supporting broader access to investment solutions as the Sultanate continues to strengthen its financial sector in line with Oman Vision 2040. As with any investment, prospective investors should review the fund prospectus, including its risks, terms and conditions, before subscribing.
