Saudi Arabiaโ€™s Advanced Packaging Company, affiliated with Alesayi Holding Company, is investing US$10 million to establish a new beverage production facility in Salalah Free Zone, marking another step in Omanโ€™s drive to attract industrial investment and diversify its economy. The project will manufacture soft drinks, juices and energy drinks on a site covering approximately 25,500 square metres. Production is expected to begin within six months, with the facility serving the Omani market and supporting exports to Yemen and African markets. The investment is expected to create direct and indirect employment opportunities while generating business for local suppliers across transportation, storage, packaging, maintenance and logistics. The company is also considering a separate cardboard-box manufacturing facility in Muscat and relocating an additional beverage production line to Oman. This development reinforces Salalahโ€™s growing role as an industrial and logistics hub, supporting local value creation, export potential and the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
