Oman is preparing for the next chapter in the development of Port of Salalah, one of the Sultanate’s key maritime and logistics gateways.

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology has reaffirmed its commitment to the port’s continued development and expansion. According to Muscat Daily, Salalah Port Services Company will continue operating the port until 1 November 2028, under its existing concession agreement. Authorities have confirmed that port operations and development projects will continue without interruption during this period, while details of the new operator expected to take over after the current agreement expires will be announced in due course.
