Oman continues to strengthen community development through public-private partnerships. In Dhank, Al Dhahirah Governorate, five development agreements involving private-sector contributions of approximately RO 200,000 have been signed to support initiatives across education, healthcare, social development, sports, endowments and religious affairs. These agreements aim to improve public services, enhance residentsโ€™ quality of life and encourage greater collaboration between private companies, government institutions and community organisations. The initiative reflects the important role of corporate social responsibility and private-sector participation in supporting sustainable local development, while contributing to the broader objectives of Oman Vision 2040. By directing resources towards essential community needs, such partnerships can help create lasting social value and support more inclusive development across the Sultanate.
