Omanโ€™s Environment Authority (EA) has invited the public to participate in a competition to design the visual and media identity of the National Natural Park Reserve in Musandam, creating an opportunity for creative talent to contribute to the promotion of the Sultanateโ€™s natural heritage.

The proposed identity should capture Musandamโ€™s distinctive landscapes, rugged mountains, spectacular coastlines, marine environment and rich biodiversity. Covering approximately 1,149.40 square kilometres, the reserve represents an important natural asset with significant environmental and tourism value.

The winning design will receive a cash prize of RO 1,000. Beyond the competition, the initiative aims to encourage public engagement in environmental conservation, raise awareness of protected habitats and strengthen recognition of Musandam as a destination of exceptional natural beauty.

By bringing creativity and environmental awareness together, Oman is encouraging greater public participation in protecting and promoting its natural treasures while supporting responsible tourism and sustainable development.
