Oman Cement Company has reported strong financial growth, with net profit rising 68.1% to RO 9.878 million during the first nine months of 2026, compared with RO 5.876 million in the same period last year. The improvement was supported by higher sales volumes, better selling prices, and tighter cost controls. Revenue from cement sales increased by 18.17% to RO 58.561 million, reflecting continued operational progress in a competitive market.

Meanwhile, the company is still studying a proposed cement plant in Duqm with a planned clinker production capacity of 5,000 tonnes per day. It is also exploring an aggregates project to diversify revenue and support potential expansion into ready-mix concrete and mortar.

These developments highlight the opportunities within Omanโ€™s construction materials sector as infrastructure and development projects continue to shape demand. The performance also underlines the importance of operational efficiency, cost management and strategic investment in strengthening industrial competitiveness.
