The German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech) has received institutional accreditation from the Oman Authority for Quality Assurance (OAQA) following a comprehensive assessment of its academic, administrative and institutional performance.
The accreditation was approved in July 2026 and will remain valid until July 2031, marking an important milestone for the university and Omanโs higher-education sector.
The assessment examined six key areas, including governance and management, human resources, academic programmes and resources, research and innovation, student services, and external engagement.
The accreditation reinforces GUtechโs commitment to academic quality, research, innovation and student development, while contributing to Omanโs ambitions to strengthen a knowledge-based economy.
