The Oman Olympic Committee will organise Oman Olympic Day 2026 on September 14 at The Village in Al Hail Al Shamaleyah under the theme βYou Can Do This! Letβs Move.β
The event aims to encourage physical activity, strengthen the role of sport in everyday life and promote Olympic values such as participation, cooperation and active living. The programme will bring together the community across a wide range of sporting activities, including a 1.7km walk, athletics, badminton, table tennis, tennis, martial arts, 3Γ3 basketball, wheelchair basketball and more.
The initiative will also combine sport, health awareness, education and community engagement, with activities focused on sports health and safety, anti-doping, inclusion, athletesβ rights, environmental sustainability and medical screening. Children and families will also have dedicated recreational activities.
