Oman has revised fee-payment procedures for selected Commercial Registry and Commercial Agencies services on the Oman Business Platform, allowing investors and business owners to make a nominal payment when submitting an application and settle the remaining fees after processing is completed. The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion said the change is intended to simplify procedures, reduce upfront payment requirements and improve digital services, as part of broader efforts to redesign business services around usersโ needs and increase automation. The platform recorded 963,549 transactions between January and September 2026, alongside 35,907 new commercial registrations and 106,577 automatic licences
