Oman has launched 13 new investment opportunities valued at approximately RO 122.849 million through the Invest in Oman platform, covering food security, agriculture, fisheries and related industries. The initiative follows the localisation of 12 projects worth RO 97.413 million, as the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources deepen cooperation to convert sector resources and requirements into structured, investor-ready projects. The new opportunities include smart agriculture, livestock and crop production, fisheries equipment manufacturing, tuna and shrimp farming, and abalone cultivation, supporting food security, local value chains and Omanโs broader economic diversification goals under Vision 2040
