Oman’s Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning has introduced a digital real estate valuation system designed to reduce arbitrary property pricing and unlawful overcharging.
Developed through a partnership with the Omani-owned Oman Real platform, the system uses AI, property data, infrastructure proximity and historical market transactions to assess property values more transparently.
Specialised teams will also provide human oversight to review valuations and help prevent potential market manipulation, supporting greater fairness for both buyers and sellers.
The initiative marks another step towards a more transparent, data-driven and digitally enabled real estate market in Oman.
